Lacing Up for Community: Parker’s Sneaker Giveaway
There’s nothing like a fresh pair of sneakers! Last week, Parker Family Health Center proudly gave away more than 400 pairs of brand-new sneakers to local children and families in Red Bank.
But we didn’t do it alone.
Our primary sponsor – Bank of America – organized a sneaker drive and donated over 350 pairs and then came and volunteered at the event. We were also joined by 20 incredible community partners who shared resources ranging from food assistance to mental health support. Together, we turned the St. Anthony’s gym into a one-stop hub for hope, help, and new beginnings.
Events like these remind us that when we come together: healthcare providers, nonprofits, volunteers, and neighbors, we build something stronger than services. We build trust, dignity, and community.
