Superheroes and children came together on Saturday, January 15th, for a Community Cares Day of Covid awareness and vaccinations. St. Anthony’s Church provided the space and set up volunteers, coordinating the day’s event with Parker and the Monmouth County Health Department. JBJ Soul Kitchen provided lunch for the volunteers and giveaways for the vaccine recipients. In addition, Red Bank Salvation Army’s canteen was on hand with coffee and snacks, Red Bank Primary School gave away free children’s books, and Pilgrim Baptist Church also lent a hand! Over 250 children and adults took advantage of this important event! Our grateful thanks to all the volunteers from the different organizations as well as special thanks to Red Bank Primary and RBR students and CBA’s volunteer Spiderman and Captain Marvel!
